If you are upset with your smile, because your teeth are worn or chipped, or because of discoloration, gaps, or crookedness, the Nu Smile Center For Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry in Roseville, California, offers LUMINEERS® BY CERINATE®

Lumineers or Lumineer veneers are thinner than standard porcelain veneers. Cerinate is a proprietary porcelain used only at the Cerinate Smile Design Studio. This is where our cosmetic dentists will have your customized Lumineers made. See featured patients stories that show before and after lumineer veneers.

Lumineers need little or no tooth preparation

For traditional porcelain veneers, the tooth must shave down, to make room for the veneer. Lumineers need this step and they are extra thin. They are often compared to contact lenses in their delicate thinness.

Thinness does not mean weakness. Lumineers are strong after they bond to the tooth. Tooth and veneer become one entity. The veneer providing a new glossy surface, and the tooth supporting the veneer. Lumineers are no exception to this, and will give you many years of smile brightness. Your Lumineers will not become stained. With good dental care will keep their pearly-white sheen for many years.

Lumineers are a reversible dental procedure

Lumineers are more thin than standard porcelain veneers. This means the tooth isn’t altered. The whole procedure is reversible. The natural tooth behind the Lumineer is still intact.
